〜たい
Meaning: want to (do)
Usage:
Used to express desire to do something
Examples:
- 私は映画を見たいです。I want to watch a movie.
- 寿司を食べたい。I want to eat sushi.
Note:
Conjugated like an i-adjective. Object particle を can change to が.

〜ながら
Meaning: while (doing)
Usage:
Used to express two actions happening simultaneously
Examples:
- 音楽を聞きながら勉強します。I study while listening to music.
- 歩きながら話しました。We talked while walking.

〜たり〜たり
Meaning: doing things like ~ and ~
Usage:
Used to list examples of actions or states
Examples:
- 休みの日は映画を見たり、本を読んだりします。On days off, I do things like watch movies and read books.
- 昨日は暑かったり、寒かったりしました。Yesterday it was sometimes hot and sometimes cold.
Note:
Used with past tense form of verbs/adjectives + り.

〜てみる
Meaning: try doing
Usage:
Used to express trying something
Examples:
- この料理を食べてみてください。Please try eating this dish.
- 日本語で話してみます。I'll try speaking in Japanese.

〜なければならない / 〜なくてはいけない
Meaning: must / have to
Usage:
Used to express obligation or necessity
Examples:
- 宿題をしなければなりません。I must do my homework.
- 明日早く起きなくてはいけません。I have to wake up early tomorrow.
Note:
〜なければならない is more formal than 〜なくてはいけない.
